Totals Page / Finances

It is a certainty that all experts will have to tally their project amounts for taxes and run different reports at the end of the year. It would be nice if Ancestry.com created a rather simple dashboard type product which would take data they already have stored and let us create graphs, totals and more financial tools that will allow us to better keep track of our projects.

  1. Ancestry has a link on your profile that allows you to see projects payed. Unfortunately it hasn't been available for several months. The other big problem I have is that Ancestry is meant to pay the first Friday of the Month and the third friday. My deposit was meant to be available on 1st Jan but my bank stated it went in on Dec 31st. This has really messed up my taxes.

  2. Why do they hold onto our money for so long? Are they making money on the interest accrued, and giving us our original cut *without* the interest?

  3. I really do think it is legitimate payroll issue. It seems quite similar to how my last job worked.

There could be many improvements however, including a clear calendar system that shows the pay cut off date and the estimated deposit date.
